At the time, Schlitt was working with Packing Corporation of America (PCA) when he came to Ashland and formed a working relationship with Honaker. The two spoke during a game of golf about what it would be like to work together under their own company, which became the basis for Ashtonne Packaging. Fifteen years later, Ashtonne Packaging is still going strong. The company has become locally known for its unique packaging design, unboxing experiences, and retail and point-of-purchase displays for a variety of products. Ashtonne recently moved into a new facility and has expanded its operations, consolidating all of its offices into one space.
