In this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except that everyone loves playful branding and their pets.

Our client, a NYC-based women's workwear brand, was looking for a way to add moments of discovery to the unboxing experience. And who knows the true unboxing experience better than a cat?

 At the bottom of every branded box, customers would find text that read, "Place cat here," with a branded, pet-themed hashtag. And sure enough, cats did what cats do best—they made any and every empty box their new home.

 As a result, buyers started sharing pictures and videos of their cats lounging in the box, checking out the box, and even avoiding the box. Buyers tagged the brand and used the branded hashtag, which gave us powerful metrics to track the success of the campaign.
